Really, let us know what you want to see in Street Rodder and www.streetrodderweb.com.
Heck, we might even listen.

I am building a 32 hiboy with a supercharged 392 hemi and  I followed your article on the blower buildup for the 392. You didn't follow through and publish the dyno chart that I was expecting. Not just your magazine but articles that take several months the project details seem not to always get published. Maybe final details could be posted to this site You still have a great magazine.

Bob, sounds like a great project.
I'll look into finding the dyno chart and post it on the web site. If I can find it - that is. There could be things from the late-seventies piled on his desk.
Since he's at the NSRA Nats this week, I'll have plenty of time to make myself at home.

I really have enjoyed 'Street Rodder Showcase' and the occasional frameable expanded-pullouts Street Rodder presented in the past. Wouldn't it be great if Street Rodder printed 'Showcase Art' on one sided thin-light Bristol or frameable stock paper @ month so we could pull them out on that perforated line and place those great efforts in frames as classic Street Rodder collectibles??? 'Oooooo Genie in the magic tail-lamp [Places '59 Caddy tail-lens on top of head as to get 'point' across with right hand - while rubbing '39 Ford gennie glass blue-dot lens with left 'love & peace fingers' gazing madly, hopefully for that purple glow to radiate warmly]... chanting: 'In the name of sacred Ed Roth, Larry Erickson, Harry Bradley, Von Dutch and Thom Taylor let the presses roll...'

Then if Custom Rodder did the same we might benefit twice with just one purchase and more would subscribe just to start collecting! Two great collectibles for the price of one! Wishful thinking...

I like Street Rodder magazine very much and have tons of back issues that I use for reference.  Sure, I have other mags and I do use the free research service at the Blackhawk bookstore and library run by Frank Zimmerman, as well for research.  But SR is the mag I subscribe to.

So what do I really like about SR?  SR presents broad coverage, well-written articles and specs, and an excellent depth and breath of advertisers.  I like reading what’s new and knowing that the “old stuff” is still available.  And I understand that money talks and BS walks so the advertisers must be getting results or they would leave.  But they are still there.

Case in point: While building “Black Widow 2” in 8 months last year (see www.black-widow-2.com for details) I used many of the advertisers in SR for parts.  Yes, I over spent but I was on a dead line to be in Pomona in January of this year.  Of all the great advertisers I have to point to Rod Parts Warehouse for saving me money.  He’s a discounted / drop shipper.  Oh yeah, he got to know my by name!

I like SR and look forward to each issue.

As for the streerodderweb, I am only now using it.  I have no basis for compliment at this moment but am sure I will get some ideas as I move forward.

Thank you.  –Zoomie-

I really like the low budget "how-to's" and stories on rod runs.  I enjoy history type articles on the people that shaped the hobby in the early days.  How about featuring some car clubs and what they are doing?

Seeing the mag in the mailbox always brings a smile to my face.  I read the entire thing at least once and several articles twice.  The ads are a good source of information especially the ones with web addresses.

Thanks
Bo

Nick,
I mentioned this on the R&C forum, but it deserves repeating. Rizzo is THE MAN. I am eatin' up his build articles on his truck. Then, yesterday I get the new issue in the mail,a hat trick of killer articles by THE MAN. And, to top it off, he's not putting a small block Chevy in it. Can I get an AMEN. Go Rizzo.

I would like to see more lo-boys and track t modified's.  I love hot-rodded sportscars such as 1957 Triumph's with Maserati engines and independant suspensions, so it's a natural extension to enjoy cars such as Zipper's modified.  Like to see some convential rods like a deuce with Italian engines.
