I have a 34 Ford and I am looking for an under dash  panel to install AC vents. I have previously seen a steel unit that runs the width of the dash advertised in a car magazine but have been unable to find the ad. Does anyone know who manufactures this piece. It would be ideal for the stereo and AC vents and would save a lot of fabrication time. thanks

I remember seeing that add, maybe RB'S? A thought, If its a plastic car, find another dash panel (doesn't have to be that great of condition) and use the bottom 6" or so and recess mount it under and behind/offset you dash. Shouldn't be too much fab. to make this work. Just size it to fit your components. You could even mount ign. switch etc.
Good luck,
Jim
