I'm working on a 39 Chevy 2 door sedan. It has a 350/350, Chassis Engineering MII with a power rack. I'm putting an 8" Granada rear end in it in a couple of weeks. I'm also planning on rewiring it and putting in new guages this summer.

I just finished doing a full interior in a 46 Nash 4 dr. Have a couple of projects coming up including a 70 Chevelle SS and a 50 Bathtub Nash for the same guy that I did the 46 for. My personal project is a 46 Ford Tudor (sedan) It is going to be 100% home built with a mustang II front end, 302/C4 combo with an 8 inch rear end from a 69 Mustang. It will get a full custom interior with a hand fabed dash and counsel inlaid with Birdseye maple and black walnut, seats are from a mid 80's Murcur up front and a LaBaron back seat.

I am working on a lo budget T Bucket. It has a 350 350 with a 48 rearend. This is a driveway project as I have no garage space. I bought a rolling chassis for $900 with the engine, trans & bucket. I just bought some nice SS roadster headers with turnouts for $52. The '48 rearend has been the biggest challenge, trying to find parts at reasonable cost. I am trying to put it on the road for around $2500.

Hi I'm Mike. New here today. First posting. Currently working on a chopped 48 Packard Hearse, 57 Buick Kustom, 56 Ford Ranch Wagon etc etc. More details here: www.Customikes.com
It's only metal, It does not know if it is on a 50 Merc, or on a Lambo. Make it do what you want.

Thanks, Ekimball. It was customized and painted for Mr Glenn Stegeman in 1990. Paint is still the same... It's getting suspension and driveline mods right now. www.Customikes.com

Hello everyone, new to this forum. We are finishing a 4 year project on a completely custom and over the top chopped 1951 Merc streetrod. We were pushing to get this car ready for the 2009 Seattle Roadster show in February but this show has been cancelled. Now we are setting our sights on the Wild to Mild show in the Tacoma Dome in April. We have just set up a quick website with some photos of this project at http://www.1951merc.com. We just painted the body yesterday and will be laying down the flames and clearcoat this weekend. I will try to add new photos shortly.

Hi Merc, Sad about the Seattle Show. It looks like that because of ongoing litigation it will be a while before anyone will be able to take it over too. We will be going to the Southern Oregon Rod & Custom Show next weekend outside Medford. There is another in Portland the same weekend. With the cancellation of Seattle these two are the only indoor shows in the Northwest. Sad...
Your Merc is off the hook !!!
