what about Minneapolis

I've asked this question before, and I think it was deleted.  Why?

Anyway, I've been a subscriber for years. Love the mag, and love the web site.  This weekend, I went to the Minneapolis hot rod show, Back to the Fifties.  There were 12,000 cars registered, plus an estimated 2,000 to 4,000 who registered at the gate.  That's right... thousands, not hundreds.  This must be one of the largest (if not THE largest) shows in North America.

Why didn't I see anyone from SR, and why don't I ever see any coverage in the mag about this show?  I find it's the best possible venue, and features some of the best cars around!  Foose was here... why weren't you?

Yeah i've seen some pics from that show and it looks like a good time, the staff of Street Rodder would love to cover every show possible, but it simply isn't feasible, there are only so many pages in a magazine, and only so many events we can attend coast to coast, thanks for the feedback

why not rotate the shows you put in the magazines for coverage? Not everyone wants to see Goodguys or NSRA stuff in EVERY issue- mix it up a bit!

MSRA (Minnesota Street Rod Association) put on "Back to the 50's"
Street Rodder has had a small feature on this show each year for quite a while.

However, it is too large of a competitor to NSRA and Goodguys who both spend money to advertise in all of the magazines.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you!!

Oh and by the way it is not a Minneapolis show.

It is in Saint Paul!!

Us Saint Paul people hat it when Minneapolis get all the credit for the good stuff.

Minneapolis is where bridges fall down.
