I'm tyring to locate a Rod and Custom magazine from April 1969, and a Steet Roader Magazine from January 1973. My dad passed away and my mom gave me his 32 Ford Roadster. I rememeber when he bought the car the previous owner said the car was in some magazines, but he wouldn't give them to us. I have just found out that it was in these two issues. The car did run at Bonneville and El Mirage. If you have any information or pictures or articles on this car I would love to talk to you. Have you tried ebay? Also you might want to try going to swap meets, if you can't get any help here. good luck  

Try the library periodical section in your local colleges and/or you might be able to check with the publishers and see if they have an archive available. Sometimes a private collection is placed on e-bay. I have found full collections in the library of sequential years dating back in the 60's on articles I researched in the past.
I would recommend you also look at Street Rod Builders and shops that were in business around that period. Often they have tons of magazines stashed away somewhere.
