I respect the work involved in the Volksrod as in any custom but they seem hokey. Also in my opinion they take away from the class and style when comparing them to the 30's and 40's rods.

I think they can be pretty cool, although I'm not sure how many I'd want to see in the magazine, but one every once in a while, would be cool.

As you can tell by my user name, I'd love to see a few Volksrods now and then. I have been driving one of Andy Brizio's volksrods from the late sixties. I rebuilt it in 2001. I'm running a blown 2 liter type 1 V-Dub motor in it and it hauls a**. I also built a 63 bug version of a Volksrod a few years back that has become known as the Rat Patrol. I just finished a Porsche powered mid-engine 34 Ford pick-up that I am very proud of. I would love to see a couple of Volksrods here and there.

The custom VW's are awesome, But they have there magazines, I think an article on one to show some hot rodders something new, but not a regular article

I would also like to see a Volksrod, or two. There are some, that really look cool. Drop axles, hairpins, and all. I know it is hard to say Volkswagen, and Streetrod, in the same sentence. But Hey!!!!
