I have to be honest.  I don't own a hot rod.  I have loved them from a far for a long, long time.  Now I have the opportunity to get a 1928 model A, about 80% complete, just missing seats and paint.  There are probably about a thousand ideas in my head about what I want this car to look like.  I have been struggling with the decision to buy it for about three weeks now.  I am mechanically inclined (I am a sheet metal worker by trade) but don't have the automotive knowledge to tackle this.  So, my question is, should I go for it or not?

if you want it more than you don't want it then i say go for it,if it't that far then it should be easy
it took my all but 4 years to buy mine and lucky for me it was still there, but i have to start from the bottom up and thousands of dollars later it will be done[i'm hoping for maybe next summer i'll post some pictures]

I would go for it, a near finished project is a great place to start as opposed to a pile of parts.
