Recently bought 40 Plymouth sedan delivery. I know that there are Fords and Chevys aplenty, some in 'glass, but I am interested in finding out how many of the original 538 steel cars are left.  As far as I can tell there are only about 5 or 6. Would like verify.  Thamks everyone.

I have a 40 Plymouth sedan delivery in Aurora Or. It's yellow with blue stripes. Bought it down at Hot Aug. night's last year, and it came from Shelton Washington. I would also like a count of how many are left.

It's hard to say how many are left, there are famouse racecars that people aren't sure exist.

Rare bird Ok. Unlike other manufacturers with single back door, that '49 Mopar had 2 doors. I Found a yellow one in Leesburg Virgina about 1982. Bought a wrecked Chevelle with 307/TH350. Cruized it about a year. Also did a '36 Dodge humpback panel delivery. Cruized it to Nats South, Winton-Salem, NC in '81.
Have fun, Jim
