I have a 350ci chevy crate engine in my '49 Mercury and the enging has a strong vibration at about 1600rpm and goes away at about 1800rpm, sitting still or driving. Anybody have a clue as to what the problem might be?????????

Motor mounts would be the first thing I would look into.
