Okay, I get chopping.  I get channeling.  But could someone please explain to me what sectioning is?  

Sectioning, as I understand it is removing a horizontal part of the body, it reduces the overall size of the body, they used to do it to reduce the drag on race cars and such, then became popular as a more aesthetic custom touch. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
