I am looking at a 28 Chevy coupe that is in fairly good condition. Looks to be complete, all glass is there along with the engine that is sitting inside the car. The guy is asking 4500 for it, does this sound like a descent price or a little high? When I first saw it I thought it was a Model A which is what I was orginally looking for, just don't want to get something that will not hold value very well
Thanks for any help, Kerwin

From what I have found it is either a LANDAU or Cabriolet model. Is there a way to post a pic on here?

What are you planning on doing to the car. I have a 1928 coupe and made a rod out of it.I have a 350/350 in it. To do this there is a lot of wood in it. Must reinforce all cornors and joints. I have 20,000 mile on it now and it's fun to drive.

I plan on making it into a Hot Rod but all the wood is a concern. Just not sure how hard it will be to find replacement wood or metal to replace the wood. Can you tell me a web site that I can look at what parts are available

Yeah, you can either create a readers ride page, and link to that, or if you have the image located online you can link to it using the icon of the mountain above where you post.
Let me know if you have any questions.

A 28 chevy can be done very well. It might not be worth as much as a '32 ford but build anything nice and it should hold it's value.
