Can anyone direct me? I am looking for a mock up engine, smallblock Chevy 283. I don't know what they are made of, plastic or HD foam. It would be used for fitting, ie. engine mount placement, fender or fire wall cutting. Anyone know were I can beg, borrow or buy such an item? Reply here or gerardfsommers@aol.com

Not sure who makes them, or where you would find them

May be a bit too late with my response, but Replica Motors makes plastic mock up engines. I know they make a Chevy 350, but I'm not sure about the 283.

I bought a new one off ebay last year for $225. I have already used it 3 times, they are well worth the money
