Looking for a back issue of street rodder I cant remember the year but i think it was 1977 - 1980
the artical im looking for was on the cover "An Armstrong Duece" anybody remember that one?

I know there are a lot of guys here with the whole archives, but it can be kind of hard to pour through them to find a certain article.

Greetings, I would appreciate it very much is someone can answer a question for me.
Starting in about 1950, Drag News would print race results for most tracts in the L.A. area. I need to find a source that has results for 1946. Particularly, S.C.T.A meets at the dry lakes. For instance, I know that Jim Harrell took 2nd place in modified class on 6 or 9 / 22 / 1946 turning 128.04 M.P.H.—that information is on the trophy. But I need the kind of information that Drag News published with size and type of engine in the cars.
If anyone can direct me toward such a source, I will do my best to see that you get blessed somehow.
