All

I have created a Powerpoint resentation that shows you how to make curved glass for your Chop Top project.  I worked out the details and I have pictures to walk you through it step by step.

I am new at thios forum stuff so be patient with my ignorance about posting, attachm, ents, etc.

Sincerely

Rick

I would like to get a copy of your PPT.  How many chops have you done?  Do you have a web page with some of your work displayed?

I'm still looking forward to my first chop, hope to start on it this summer.

Thanks,
Earle

Sounds too good to be true.  Do you cut the original glass or some sort of lexan.

Wow, sounds very interesting. Chopping a top can be a very intimidating thing, even for the most experienced rodder. I'm not sure how you could share this with user's on the forum. I would suggest using Email.

Most people i know who have chopped their cars have the glass cut by a proffesional. how much cheaper is it to cut it yourself?

still looking for alternatives, I know a couple methods of cutting curved lams. and I know how to make a custom curved laminate, but its not economical for one-offs.

One of the Associate editors for one of the truck books under the same umbrella as Street Rodder just cut down the windshield for his truck he chopped. Granted it took him one shattered windshield to get it right!
