Hello All,
Recently I inherited a 36 Ford two-door trunk sedan project car and a 38 Ford panel truck project car. Unfortunately I do not have the time, money, or talent to complete either of these projects, so I am going to sell them. I have two potential buyers interested who have already contacted me but I have no idea of the value of these cars. If someone could help me out with a general range of prices I would be grateful.
The '36 is probably 80% done. The frame has been boxed and strenghtened. It is solid, strong and done right. It has an 8" Ford rear end on leaf springs and a AMC Pacer front suspension with disc brakes (sturdier than Mustang II). The workmanship is nice and everything is geometrically correct. It's not a hack job. There is a steering column hooked up. Gas tank is installed. Wiring harness is complete but not installed. It has a fresh, newly rebuilt Chrysler 360 engine, bored over .030" with zero miles. The engine is totally stock. Tranny is a 727 automatic. There is a brand new (still in box) Walker radiator. The body has been channeled over the frame so the car will ride low while retaining all the correct steering geometry, caster, and camber as well as eliminating ring and pinion wear. The body is solid. There may be some minor pinholes in the doors. I can't remember. The rear corner was rusted through and was repaired with a welded in patch. The car is in primer but there is quite a bit surface rust coming through. All four steel fenders and bumpers are there plus fiberglass front fenders, runningboards and fender horns. There are lots various gaskets and felt parts as well as window rubber still in the packages. There is no glass or upholstery. There is a back seat and two bucket seats but I don't think they are installed.
The 38 is a rare panel truck. There are very few around. It is really just the body and chassis and it is pretty rough. It'll take some talent to get this one on the road. The doors are BAD and the rear doors are not the correct ones. The rest of the body is pretty solid and complete. Rust was repaired with metal welded in. The chassis has been boxed and the wishbone split. It has the original front axle. There is an 8" Ford rearend on leaf springs from a 69 Mustang. A Ford 302 from the same Mustang is installed but it has been seized up for years and is junk. But at least the firewall work and motor mounts have been done if someone wants to go all Ford with it.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Whoa! Looks like this is from 2006, I doubt he still has them, and even less likely he's ever coming back. Wonder how much they went for?
