Hello All...I'm an old "newbie" here. I have 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan (standard) streetrod I am refurbishing. It has a Mustang II front end. Hence, the original front crossmember is gone. The original builder used the stock "wishbone" that mounts the front fenders and upper radiator struts bolted to a homemade (poorly) crossmember that was in turn bolted to the frame rails. The hood and fenders alignment was horrible. At cruises, I've seen these aftermarket "struts" that bolt/weld to the frame rails and use the original inner fender and radiator strut holes to mount the front fender/grille assembly. The car owners had no clue where they came from as they bought, not built, their carsMy question: Who makes these and where can I get them? Thanks,Mark HOceanport, NJ
I guess nobody knows what I'm describing above?
