I have a 1987 Chevrolet 5.0 engine in my streetrod, and I am assembling the front end of the engine.  It is a bare engine with vibration damper, and I have bought the power steering pump, water pump,  alternator, and all the brackets and pulleys from a salvage yard.  That is all that I will be running for now.  I know that the water pump is the first step, but I am not sure how the rest goes on.  I have searched for a picture of diagram of the acessory mountings for a 5.0 engine (v belt), but I have been unsucessful so far.  Any suggestions?  Skyraker

For $20, you can get a good repair manual at any of the auto parts houses. It will have everything you need.
