I've been searching the internet for a disc brake kit (front) that fits my -48 Pontiac Streemliner 8 but I haven't found anything yet. I've been in contact with ECI in Vernon CT, JPL in Aliquippa PA and Heidt's but no. The only company that could help was Brake Tech Solutions in Charlotte NC but then I'd have to send my spindels all the way from Sweden and it would cost 1195$ plus shipping.
Can anyone recommend me were to search or who to contact?
I've also been thinking about changing the spindels from Pontiac to Chevy -48 just to find a kit easier but I've been told they doesn't match/fit.(What's the difference?) Kind Regards

Have you tried Wilwood.com? 805-388-1188 They make a lot of brake kits for Pontiac. I know it is hard finding applications for special cars. Bruce

Try Scarebird or DiscBrakeMike.com. Both make kits for early GM cars which mount common rotors and calipers. Kits are just th bearing adaptors and caliper brackets with instructions and a list of what to buy to finish the job. Good luck- Jim
