I am new to the street rod scene. I have owned a custom & collision shop for over 25 years, involved in completing award winning muscle car restorations & race car paint work, just never personally doing a ground up street rod build ,only on the refinishing end. I am starting to do the research to build a rod for myself . Still trying to make a final decision on a 32 Coupe or a 41 Willy's. After searching the internet I have found the web site,-- VERY NICE! I am looking for a complete roller, feeling this would help take out some of the 1st time guess work. I am open to your professional opinions. Can anyone maybe help with any frequently asked questions? Can anyone let me know your opinion on pros/cons of the two styles I am looking at? Are there any manufactures/builders you would or would not recommend? Any info would greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

A couple of places to try. Outlaw in Pennsylvania and Antique and Collectibles in Buffalo, NY. From my experience, these are two of the best Willys bodies produced. Check mine out in the readers rides.

I just had a rolling chassis built this summer for my 32 pickup. I would recommend the shop to anyone. You deal directly with the owner and he will steer you clear of any troubles you may run into down the road on your build.
He was able to answer all the questions I could come up with and made a few recommendations that I hadn't even thought of. He saved me from a few head aches.
I had him build a roller for us and we did the prep/paint ourselves.
He builds both chassis you are considering, give him a call.... if not just for some advice

Outlaw is my personal favorite. The bodies are so straight that you can almost just sand down the mold lines and paint it

It's only metal, It does not know if it is on a 50 Merc, or on a Lambo. Make it do what you want.
