Tussle in Pamona ???

I heard a rumor that there was, what has been described as, a melee at the GNRS last weekend during check-in.

Something about pre-registered cars coming in from out of State being turned away at the door.

Rumor has it that the Pamona police needed to be called.  Anyone heard/know anything about that ?

There was no melee. There were some people who were really, really mad because of they way the show reserved spaces for the car show. Most shows will overbook their show (much like an airline overbooks a particular flight) because they know that some folks won't make it to the show because of one thing or another.
In this case everyone who had a reserved spot showed up, and there weren't enough spaces to go around. The promoter tried to accommodate everyone by purchasing another building on the grounds on the spot and fit a lot more cars in, but not everybody was happy about it. The cars in the smaller outside building were just as nice as the ones in the big rooms.
