I start by saying please forgive a question about a specific problem involving a non street rod.

I own a 72 Corvette BB, 4 speed.  Not long after getting her I choose to add a PS package that duplicated what would have been factory installed had it been ordered in 72 (PS pump, belt, fluid, brackets, ET AL)

What I find is that the PS is just a bit light or quick at hwy speeds.  I've seen flow valves on street rods but wonder if a specific one will work for this application.  I've also seen the pully sized changed on certin street rod application to accomplich the same thing.  I remember one I had on a 53 Effie that was adjustable.

Can anyone help with info.  My thanks ahead of time.
