Just put a 04 5.3 Chevrolet in a 48 Ford Pickup. Did the painless wiring route and real happy with the way iy turned out, But. went to start the motor and it fired right up for about 3 sec then shuts down, tried it about 20 times with the same results. What am I missing here? Thanks for the help guys...

Just in case anybody is interested I found out the computer has an anti theft mode in it. Have to send it in to get reprogramed.

Ditto. Pump in the tank??
Did my first FI in 1960. About 8 since then. Best way to go if you have the bucks. Today TPI, LT1, LS1, S&P.
No problems, no fun with street rods.......Jim
