Just wondering if every NSRA member that has an extended membership can demand a refund for the rest of their unused time because we were sold a membership to a certain type of orginization that is no longer valid (48 and older).  I think that we can consider this a 'bait and switch'. I still had 1 year left on my membership and instead of turning in my card in Louisville, I should have thought of the above and gone for the money. Attention lifetime members, you got the shaft.

This event will STAY a pre 49 event ...FOREVER!

Ask your fellow rodders who have ventured to Evansvile In for this event. I'll trust you will find nothing but positive remarks. Mark your calendar and get your pre entry in. Use the form on the website, it says 2009 and will be updated shortly.

Oh Boy, Here we go again. The NSRA staff has always had identity anxiety. It has just come to the surface again. The anxiety has this time overwhelmed it's ability to represent the desires of its current membership. The NSRA is now willing to make the paradiam shift and sacrifice its current members in order to pander its self to a modern money making entity. I can only hope that another organization with the will power and intergrity can fill the newly created void,,, whom ever it is I will let you know now that you will have my support. We have at my home a fall tradition we build a fire in the back yard a cook a few hot dogs, smores and have a few of my Hot Rod friends over. This year I'll burn 22 years of Street Scene magazine.

I just joined here and subscribed also. I feel the only *** crap to be seen at a streetrod show should stereo stuff. For those that like both or old and new National Street Machine Club has a mixture of all. I have a 27 roadsteer, 72 Camaro, 81 Mustang, 88 dually, and 04 F250. So I like alittle bit of all. But when I go to a Streetrod show it better be just rods 49 and older. We hold a NSRA event here in Vermont and I wont go to it because it cost to damn much to just get in. To bring in your family(4)to show your son new ideas for our build it cost $60 for pass. Then food and `oh lets go on Sunday` another $60 so call it $200 for the weekend. Yeah its all about the money. Oh what happened to the real vendors???? I like all the used stuff.. So now I just get this magazine and stay home. This month was the first issue I bought in awhile and it had exzactly what I need for my front end build. Hell with the shows I have what I need here and in my mail box once a month.

Our priority is to gather as much feedback regarding show locations, organization structure, membership criteria, etc.  Hopefully by years end, we will have everything in place!
