Kit car title in Washington State.

I live in Washington State. I just ordered a '27 T roadster kit from Speedway Motors. Now I'm hearing horror stories about how difficult it is to obtain a title for a kit car here. Have any of you been through this process? Does anyone know an easier way to get it done? Thanks for any help you can give me.
