I am new here ,  but was a subscriber to th' mag for many yrs while i was still stateside !

the question is ,  does any one have info on th' heat sponge ?  It was featured in th' mag about 5-6 years ago and I had to leave my collection behind when I relocated to Scotland in 2005

The heat sponge radiators are no more. They went out of business. I work for a hot rod cooling compnay and we just had a customer who has one in his car and came to us asking questions about some heating issues he was having. They are a decent radiator but can be tempermental when it comes to cooling high HP.

Well , I know that th' amount of time and patience rquired to build them made them expensive but I was tryin' to help a fellow who wants to build a motorcycle out of a subaru engine and trans to find a way to fit a rad that wont overpower th' look of th' machine he wants and thought th' heat sponge would do !

I remember th' article in th' mag ,  but cant find it and want to let th' guy know how to make one if he wants to try !
