hi i am doing a school project and need answers could anybody with any info about hotrods like when they were invented please reply

You can guarantee it was the day they brought motorvehicles into production. There has always been a creative mind out there when coming to modifying something with no exceptions to motor vehicles.

There have probably been hot rods almost as long as there have been cars.  However there is one car that some folks call "America's oldest hot rod".  This is the legendary Isky roadster.  It used a 1924 Model T body on Essex rails.  It was built by Ed Iskenderian in 1939.  Mr. Iskenderian went on to become famous for the camshafts he manufactured.  You can google his name and probably come up with all sorts of information.  Good luck with your project.
