I would like to build a full fendered street rod using a mid 1980s corvette frame and running gear. I think the frame will have to be lengthened to accomodate seating for four adults and psssible luggage. Does anybody see a problem with this idea? And can the frame be lengthened? The mid 1980s corvettes can be had fairly cheap, will provide good handling and pretty good power. The body style will be a woody. Thanks for the input.

Have you learned anything about stretching a corvette frame?  I intend to stretch an 84 to fit a 56 chevy pickup.
