27 roadsteer trying to build chassis

I am trying to build my first ground up streetrod. I have an all glass 27 roadsteer body. Frame rail cutouts are 26 inches wide. Does anyone know what year stock chassis would fit it?? I`ve tryed a 27 T and a 30 A. No good. Or should I just build my own?? Oh I am using a 1968 Ford 390 with an automatic trans or maybe a 460. If I build I`m using 2x3 boxed tubing. I have been twisting wrenches for all my life so I can do almost everything, I just cant paint. Thanks Dave
