I'm new to the forum, so bare with me if I am asking some dumb questions here.  I have a 37 Chevy truck that I am building a street rod out of and am starting the wiring.  I bought a complete harness for the task and to be honest, I 'm a little intimadated with getting started with it.  Anyway, I have the fuse block mounted and the wires seperated to start running them, but that's as far as I have gotten.  Here's my question (and I know that there will be more on down the road as I get further into this thing), when runnung the wires through the fire wall, what do you use to protect them from chaffing on the metal?  I looked through several parts catalogs and can't seem to find any grommets or other items that will work.  Any info would be appreciated.

Try Mcmasters-carr....they should have something that could be used. Or you could check with some of the wiring harness companies like Painless, Ron Francis, American autowire, they all have websites and sell small parts separately like grommets and other parts .
