I came across a complete 327. Im not sure what it is worth (pretty sure its worth a good $ if somebody is trying to match the engine to their restore).

It definately needs a rebuild....as this is from a junk yard. But, it would be a good builder.

Here are the numbers on it that I have. Any info would be appreciated? What is a fair asking price for it?

intake 3973313
heads 3927185
block 3959512

according to my chevy v-8 engine casting numbers catalog[1955 to 1993], this is what i found:
intake #3973313 does not show up as either big or small block nearest #to that would be3916313 which is for a 69-70 307 or 350.
heads #3927185 were used on engines from 69 to 76; these included 327, 307,350 blocks.
block#3959512 does not show up in catalog, only block casting #that ends in 12 is for a 63-64 283 #3864812
double check your numbers and if you have other numbers let me know and i'll look them up for you.

the 3959512 block is a 1962-1963 327 *** casting number. 250 h.p., 2-bolt main.

the 3927185 head casting numbers indicate a 69 327 *** application with 1.72 intake valves and 1.50 exhaust. 70 cc combustion chambers. prob around 9:1 compr ratio.

the 3973313 does not appear to be a good number. look for a 3916313 number. is it a 2 or 4 bbl intake? iron or alum?

as for "value"..depends on condition of block and heads, etc. may be worth $4-500.00. esp if someone is looking for a year-matching number application...
