Does anyone out there have trunk supports for a '38 Ford Tudor Sdn?  Are there any suggestions as to what I could use in place of the OEM part, if possible.

Thanx, but from what I understand, the '39 is a different hinge.  Apparently, 38 was the only year they made this hinge/support mechanism.

You are right, they are different, and are crap too.  What we are using are modified 40 coupe ones that we changed, quite alot really, so that they'd work and look half way decent cosmetically.  Unless you are going the restoration route, why not just use the gas prop ones like that other guy did.
