I know this has been talked about already, but I need to vent and hopefully get these people to understand. When those huge rims originally showed up, they were meant for road rally cars, auto cross etc. So then OEM's started putting them on their factory cars. Ten all the tuner boys put them on their cars. I recently saw a 32 coupe with 20" back and 19" front at a show and the guy who owned it was in my age bracket...60+. I said love the car, hate the wheels. These owners of older cars think they must follow fad and put on the big rims.I don't understand how they think.Doesn't anyone have a mind of thier own when it comes to these ungodly big rims on older cars. Don't they get tired of the lousy ride they get with these 2 inch sidewalls? My wife has always told me that "that's why there is chocolate and vanilla"and I undertand everyone has there taste. But to just follow fads is not being innovative in my book. And by the way, my car I'm building has 15X10 American 200S on the rear and 15X7 front.
